Biography

                        DIANA COLE B.A. 2021

 

Born Brisbane. Contemporary figurative painter in oil and acrylic and drawings in black and white, printmaker, sculptor.

Studied painting and drawing at the A.D.R with Prof. Bissietta and whilst my children were growing up attended a number of life drawing groups and masterclasses and exhibited in local exhibitions.

1980-84Sculpture Centre. The Rocks, Life sculpture, casting, carving etc.

1984-87 B.A. Visual Art. City Art Institute. (Now U.N.S.W college of fine arts) Majoring in painting.

1991 Lithography. Workshop Arts Centre. Willoughby.

Recently she has designed book covers and a C.D. cover and illustrated children’s books, “Rosinella’s Journey”, “Thomas Tadpole” “The Calling of Pelican Cate” and “Bitten by an Escalator”.

 

Diana has written and illustrated 9 books for children.
